Originating in Gothenberg, Sweden and launched in the late 1970's the Vulkan brand was established as a range of muscle and joint supports. The range was initially endorsed by two eminent professors of orthopaedic surgery, Dr Per Renstrom and Dr Lars Peterson. These two doctors conducted a number of successful clinical trials using the unique aerotherm neoprene product, which resulted in the creation of the first Sports Supports range in Europe with proven medical efficacy.


The range now includes elasticated support products, for lighter compression than that provided from the aerotherm neoprene, and a range of medical supports and splints for the physiotherapy rehabilitation and medical sectors. A complementary range of products for the relief and prevention of aches and sprains as well as medical kit bags and accessories completes the Vulkan portfolio.
